“Growing up on a family farm, if you wanted to get anything done, it was DIY.” Therefore, at a very early age, the owner was an auto mechanic, plumber, electrician, woodworker and all around handy man. Even though he started his career in plastics engineering, construction was always his fascination. When the desire to be in his own business was being formulated, it flowed naturally into construction. He founded his design build company in 1981 to merge his hands-on knowledge, creative powers of visualization with state-of-the-art concepts, and in depth knowledge of business management.
Our History
In 1981, Ed Kaplan’s vision was to create a design company. Within a year, he changed his business model to design build embracing the concept of one source responsibility, that provided client support from design through project completion. Today, The Buckingham Group is a full-service design build remodeling firm that offers tailor-made solutions. meticulous planning, outstanding craftsmanship, and project management for your Tulsa home remodel.

Coupled with meticulous estimating and comprehensive specifications the scope of work and your financial commitment are clearly defined and outlined for you before the start of construction.

The Buckingham Group’s on-site work is completed with the least possible disruption to your family’s daily activities. Our projects are supervised by a project manager who coordinates and optimizes all activities using the Buildertrend® construction management system. During construction, you can communicate with our team, measure progress and plan for progress payments with the path shown in our project management schedule.
Quality Control
We guarantee our quality and keep our commitments through both our proprietary quality control program and our detailed written specifications. Cumulatively they are an insurance policy that your remodel will be done properly and without any change in project content.
